We only collect information about you to process your order. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent. Your name, address, phone number and email address are stored in order to speed up your checkout when making future purchases from us. You can check and amend the information that we hold about you when making future purchases. You will have to enter your credit/debit card details each time you make an online purchase from us. The personal information which we hold will be held securely in accordance with applicable UK and European laws.
Cookies
We use cookies whilst you are on the site. We do not record any personal details or store anything on your PC that indentifies you to us or any other party. In order to store items in your basket and make purchases you must ensure that your browser has cookies enabled. If your browser is set to reject cookies then, unfortunately, you will not be able to shop online with us.

Pettits understands that you may have concerns about security on the internet. Our site uses a secure server that implements secure socket layer (SSL) technology and uses 128bit encryption to protect your personal and payment card information.
Every transaction we process is also checked for possible fraudulent use. In the unlikely event of fraudulent or unauthorised use of your payment card by someone else to purchase goods from us on our server you must notify your payment card issuer and us either by telephoning or by emailing us as soon as you become aware of the unauthorised use of your card.
Ordering Safely
Once you have completed the selection of products you wish to purchase you may proceed to place an order. As soon as you click "checkout" your browser will go into secure mode. Your web browser should display a yellow padlock in the status bar of your browser. Data relating to your order and your personal and payment card details will all pass to our server in an encrypted format. As an additional protection for you, our system is designed so that you cannot place an order until you are safely within secure mode.
We recommend that you do not communicate your payment card details to anyone, including us, by e-mail. We cannot be held liable for any losses you may incur in transmitting information to us by internet link or by e-mail.
